Certain individuals who have high levels of these antigens should get more frequent exams than others. Although this can seem like an awkward and uncomfortable procedure, it is far less invasive or unpleasant than surgeries to have cancer removed or radiation and/or chemotherapy that can often come along with many types of cancers.
